Stanza III: to be satisfied only by You
since some time ago i began to notice things-in miniatures-magnified;
since some time ago i began to pause-to scrutinize-anticipated;
since some time ago i began to relate-with solicitude-wired;
since some time ago i began to experience-in awe-entranced;
since some time ago i began to fiddle-with psalms-raptured;
since some time ago i began to hold back-in throbs-debated;
since some time ago i began to buckle-for allowances-reformed;
since some time ago i began to listen in-to the fields-echoed;
since some time ago i began to be ready-at times-armed;
since some time ago i began to wait-under Your wings-shadowed;
since some time ago i began to cry out-in qualms-confessed;
since some time ago i began to walk-by You-accompanied;
since some time ago i began to grin-at the nature-humored;
since i am here i began to be-less of me-humbled.
Stanza II
Stanza I
I held tight to the thin clothes
living at every slowered pace
whipped away by the quickened air
every strain of my hair
is a sketch of the wind tail.
The lumps on the sky sink at their weigh
snorting away their indignant song
with their every minuscule heave
a forceful cringe on the smudge of blue
At the eye of it
a stillness is within me.
When the nature plays its rhapsody
joy is drumming inside me.
Amid splotch of raindrops and scurried footsteps
an arm shelters me.
At the most fearsome howling of wind,
a soft voice whispers.
So even I lost my way, my eyes close against the wind, my body shivers against the cold, I bow my head and turn away in utter defeat,
He will still be there.
At the eye of it all.
je t’aime, to you whose love is everlasting, whose love is unconditional, whose promises are true, my friend, my guru, my father, my saviour.
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.
The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
-Psalm 121-
